Winter has adamantly refused to arrive on schedule. However, Bear Valley Mountain continues full operation 7 days a week with man made snow for selected runs, reduced rate lift tickets, and a tubing hill. Also, Bear Valley Cross Country is offering ice skating daily from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm until it snows – click here for more information.
Since every manner of rumor exists it’s important to set the record straight. Bear Valley is required under the terms of their operating lease with the Forest Service to be open 7 days a week until the end of the season. We congratulate Bear Valley for offering full service outdoor activities under these challenging conditions. Please send all special snow requests to Mother Nature marked URGENT. And with any luck we will be digging out soon.
